I decided to hop aboard a charter bus two weeks before it was set to leave New York for New Orleans. It wasn't any old bus, it was the first-ever Women+ In Blockchain bus to embark on the StartupBus adventure!
StartUpBus is a hyper-focused hackathon on a bus, that allows teams to create, launch, and pitch a startup in a week! At the end of the week, teams are challenged to pitch in front of a team of experts for a chance to gain mentorship.
Starter Block, a blockchain-based lending platform that is focused on helping lower the student debt in America, was the result of my experience. As the chief designer, I worked with a team to develop branding personas, a small test market, wireframes, final designs, and a fully functioning website by the end of the competition.

Produce an app design that centers
around food
RESULT:
JUST FOOD: As an indecisive foodie, it was
a no-brainer for me to design an app
that could combat that. My app allows
you to randomly select from an array of
popular foods with only a few taps.
